Winners of Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award 2011
We are extremely pleased to announce that Lifeline Alarm Systems Ltd., have been awarded the
winner of the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Award for Excellence 2011, which was sponsored by Lloyds TSB.
Lifeline entered the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Awards for Excellence 2011, for the first time in its 21 year history. Of the three categories entered, Lifeline was shortlisted as finalists for two awards, Small Business Award and Employee Development Award.
The judges were looking for a company who had shown outstanding levels of service, development, continued growth,
commitment to standards and overall business performance:
Lifeline is that company.
The submission made by Lifeline demonstrated high performance
of customer satisfaction; a list of highly prestigious local
customers, many of whom submitted testimonials detailing their
support for Lifeline. This application also demonstrated the
company’s continued growth both technically and financially. In
addition to winning this highly valued award, Lifeline was also ‘Highly Commended’ in the Employee Development category. This
development included the investment in young people; completed
NVQ’s 2 & 3 in Business Administration; role swaps between
engineering and administration teams to gain greater
understanding of technical and administrative duties; internal and
external training courses, team building events and performance
incentives.
The entire awards ceremony organised by The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce is truly a worthwhile event. It provides kudos to all individuals and businesses associated with the event.
Winning awards adds credibility and credence to the successful businesses who along with other nominees have worked very hard to maintain a high level of business performance.
