The entire team at Lifeline Alarms & Security Services are delighted to announce that we are the very proud winners and recipients of the ‘Employer of the Year’ Award at the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for Excellence. This success comes fresh off the back of the company being crowned winners at the National Security & Fire Excellence Awards in November. The ‘Employer of The Year’ category was sponsored by Isle of Wight College, judges were looking for excellence in employee engagement, care and development.
The annual awards event was hosted at Cowes Yacht Haven and attended by the best the Isle of Wight business community has to offer. The new format awards ceremony was the biggest and best to date with applications up over 100% from years before. All the categories were fiercely contented. Anneka Rice presented the winners trophy to Mark Lee, Managing Director at Lifeline and the team, Mark dedicated the award to the professional hard working team that makes up Lifeline.
“What makes this award so special is not that we have won just another award, but that judges recognise the Lifeline has a depth of experience, a family of employees and a passion to work closely as a team” says Mark Lee. Adding, “To be the best employer you have to have the best employees”. This award truly recognises the fantastic team spirit at Lifeline. Our colleagues at work are our internal customers, and our best asset. The way we treat each other, work, learn and develop together reflects on the service we are able to offer our external customers. With an average length of nine and half years service, members of the team provided testimonials supporting our application each stating their commitment, passion and enjoyment being part of the Lifeline family.
At Lifeline we were thrilled to see so many of our customers and supply partners be crowned winners in their categories too, including Brightbulb Design, Hillbans Pest Control, Wightfibre, Tipsy Wight, PC Consultants, Real Employment Law Advice and Yokagawa Marex to name just a few.
