New Life into Lifeline Offices
The Island Security Centre, home of Lifeline Alarms & Security Services recently underwent a major facelift. Well known as a landmark to many, the building located on the Riverway Industrial Estate roundabout Newport has been home to the Lifeline team for over twenty years. Gone is the mid 1970’s brick face and in comes a modern anthracite finish cladding.

Planning for the improvements started early in 2019, and now completed bring the outside of the building to the same high standard as inside; which includes a suite of glass walled offices, customers lounge and Directors suite. Polished marine grade stainless steel signage completes the exterior and also reflects the character of Lifeline’s bell boxes which are a prominent and reassuring feature to many homes and businesses across the Island.

Savannah Lee, Marketing Manager at Lifeline comments: “As the premier fire & security provider on the Island it is important that our facilities reflect our enviable position as a progressive and forward thinking business. The outside of the building now reflects a more inviting, modern, professional and extremely appealing experience to customers – reflecting our high standards and ethics as a business together with our commitment to Island homes and business owners.”

As Lifeline looks forward to 2020 and celebrating its 30th Anniversary year, the changes work to further reflect the company’s continuing commitment to the Island and the environment. With materials sourced locally and Island tradesmen used to undertake and complete the facelift. The new cladding also works to improve the thermal properties of the building, to lower thermal conductivity. Key considerations for the company in undertaking this work.

Cindy Newnham, General Manager adds, “There were several aspects to these improvements, including improved energy efficiency as well as improving and modernising the far end of Riverway, making it an attractive and desirable business location. We have received so many positive comments from the community, with other businesses already committing to and pledging improvements to their buildings in the near future.”

As you would expect, Lifeline’s building is fully protected with the highest quality Detection Systems, Monitored CCTV, Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems. The newest addition to the buildings security suite is latest ‘State of the Art’ Biometric Facial Recognition and Finger Print Access Control technology.
