Who we are

Lifeline is an independent, private limited company specialising in the design, installation and maintenance of electronic fire and security systems. 

Established in 1990 by the Lee family and based in Newport on the Isle of Wight, we bring together a highly experienced team of designers, engineers and customer support staff. Our expertise has been built over decades and underpins everything we do.

Our approach

Since the company was founded, Lifeline has grown steadily through a commitment to personal service and long-term client relationships. We take time to understand each organisation we work with, delivering solutions that match their needs and maintaining a service style that is trusted, responsive and consistent.

Accreditations and compliance

Quality and compliance are central to Lifeline’s work.

  • In 1994 we achieved NACOSS approval for intruder alarm systems, along with ISO 9001 quality assurance.

  • We later added NSI accreditation for access control and CCTV.

  • In 2004, Lifeline became one of the first 50 companies in the UK to earn BAFE SP203 accreditation for the design, installation, commissioning, handover and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

These accreditations mean architects, specifiers and end users can have full confidence that every system is independently inspected, meets British and European Standards and has been installed by a qualified, audited provider. Lifeline has maintained these standards continuously, earning recognition both nationally and locally.
