A delegation from Lifeline recently attended The Security Event and The Fire Safety Event, two key events within the UK fire and security calendar.
As part of the visit, the Lifeline delegation spent time at both The Security Event and The Fire Safety Event, Europe’s leading commercial, enterprise, and domestic fire and security exhibition. Events bringing together professionals to explore cutting‑edge products and solutions focused on protecting people, places, and assets.
With over 450 industry‑leading exhibitors and more than 10,000 security solutions on display, the exhibition featured live demonstrations of the latest products and technologies, alongside high‑quality learning sessions delivered by recognised industry experts. Whilst dedicated feature areas addressed specific emergency technology challenges and operational requirements, offering practical insights, strategies, and updates on emerging advancements across the sector. Reflecting Lifeline’s commitment to leading, as the Isle of Wights experts – remaining informed, prepared, and responsive to new and emerging fire and security technologies, in addition to regulatory requirements as these continue to evolve.
During the visit, the Lifeline team met with several long‑term supply chain partners, reinforcing established relationships and discussing ongoing and future collaboration. The events also providing an opportunity to view emerging technologies and innovations that are shaping the future of the fire and security industry.
A key topic of discussion across both events was the increasing focus on lockdown systems, particularly in light of upcoming legislation that will require certain types of venues to have suitable lockdown measures in place within the next 12 months.
Savannah Lee, Marketing and Account Manager at Lifeline, commenting: “These events are vital in maintaining strong relationships between ourselves and our manufacturing partners, as well as ensuring we stay well ahead of trends and emerging technology within our industry sector. This knowledge helps us to offer our customers real confidence in their choice of provider.”
Attendance at these events forms part of Lifeline’s ongoing commitment to industry engagement, compliance, and delivering informed, future‑ready fire and security solutions for clients – maintaining and further enhancing their enviable market position.
Focus on Women in Industry
Another notable point of interest during the events was Women in Industry, a network that forms part of The Safety & Security Series. An initiative committed to recognising, supporting, and promoting women across all areas of the safety and security sectors.

With the Women in Industry network highlighting empowering initiatives designed to enhance diversity, while also emphasising the vital role of allies in creating a more inclusive industry. Providing a platform to share experiences, celebrate achievements, and encourage greater participation and representation across all roles.
Commenting on the initiative, Savannah adds: “At Lifeline, we are really keen to promote women in security. We have a fully female customer support team as well as female engineers, and we are proud to support initiatives that encourage diversity and inclusion across our industry. I was able to attend with my cousin, Sophie, who is enrolled on a dedicated Fire & Security Apprenticeship.”
A reflection of the company’s commitment to champion equality within the workplace and support industry‑led initiatives that promote diversity, collaboration, and positive change.
