Lifeline recognised as Award Winners for its training and development of staff.
On Friday 6th May, for the first time in two years the best of Island Businesses got together again to celebrate The Isle of Wight Chamber Business Awards. Lifeline are proud to come away winners on the night again, this time in the Staff Training & Development Award.
This award recognises commitment from businesses developing their staff with training. Judges looked for businesses that are investing in their teams – perhaps by taking on Apprentices or by upskilling existing staff with higher level apprenticeships or further education. Cindy Newnham (General Manager at Lifeline), collected the award accompanied by some of the past and current trainees and apprentices at Lifeline, all of whom still work at the firm from Sandra Knowles of Category Sponsors Hillbans Pest Control.
This was a fiercely competed category and one of the most difficult to judge. Many congratulations to all nominees and winners. Thank you to BECALMED LIMITED Matt Greg and Red Squirrel Property Shop Ltd for pushing us so hard in this highly contested group.
