Lifeline Achieves CHAS Advanced Certification

Raising the Standard: Lifeline Achieves CHAS Advanced

We are proud to announce that Lifeline has successfully achieved CHAS Advanced certification, marking another important step in our continued commitment to high standards, responsible business practices and continual improvement.

CHAS is a recognised UK contractor compliance and risk management scheme. CHAS Advanced goes beyond its core health and safety assessment, assessing compliance across 10 areas of risk management and incorporating SSIP requirements.

For Lifeline, achieving CHAS Advanced is about much more than adding another accreditation to our credentials.

As a specialist fire and security systems provider, our customers place considerable trust in us. They rely on Lifeline not only to provide effective technical solutions, but also to operate safely, professionally and responsibly throughout every stage of a project.

More Than Health & Safety

Achieving CHAS Advanced required Lifeline to demonstrate its approach across a much broader range of business responsibilities than health and safety alone.

The assessment encompasses areas including health and safety, environmental management, quality, financial standing, equality and diversity, modern slavery, identity, anti-bribery and corporate standing.

This wider assessment is particularly important to us because it reflects the way we believe a professional contractor should operate. Good health and safety cannot exist in isolation. It needs to be supported by strong management processes, competent people, responsible business practices and a culture where standards are understood and applied throughout the organisation.

Part of Our Continual Improvement

Over recent years, Lifeline has continued to invest in its people, processes and management systems.

CHAS Advanced provides further independent recognition of that work and supports our wider objective of continually developing the standards by which Lifeline operates.

It also provides additional reassurance for customers, principal contractors and organisations considering Lifeline as part of their supply chain. CHAS states that Advanced certification can be used to pre-qualify for a wide range of construction projects and enables contractors to share their eligibility across its client network.

Looking Forward

Achieving CHAS Advanced is an important milestone, but we don’t see accreditation as the end of the process. For Lifeline, the real value comes from using recognised standards and independent assessment to challenge ourselves, strengthen our systems and identify opportunities to improve.

As the company continues to develop, our objective remains simple: to provide our customers with professionally designed, installed and maintained fire and security systems, backed by a business they can trust. CHAS Advanced is another step in demonstrating that commitment.
