Strategic Growth Strengthens Local Support

April 13th 2026: Lifeline have announced a new period of growth and expansion, driven by the increasing demand for locally based, community focused fire and security services across the Isle of Wight. Growth that includes 3 new jobs and infrastructure investment, adding to the already 23 strong team Island based team and facilities at their dedicated Security Centre on Riverway, Newport.

As the Island business and cross-Solent transport landscape continues to evolve, many business and home owners are seeking reassurance that their fire and security systems are supported by a local dedicated team that is easily accessible and provides the broader range of services and specialist support they need. Recent changes within the local provider market and disruption to ferry schedules and rising cost driving this shift.

“We are incredibly proud to be the Isle of Wight’s local fire and security specialists,” comments Managing Director, Mark Lee. “As our community grows and changes, so too does the need for reliable support delivered by people who genuinely care about the Island. We’re proud of the customers we already serve and excited to welcome new customers on board, reflecting our long-standing commitment to fire and security, service and local expertise.”

Over recent weeks, the company has seen a marked increase in enquiries, resulting in many new customers being welcomed on board, all looking for a more personal, reliable, and locally driven service experience. Each choosing to transfer their maintenance, monitoring, support and compliance needs to Lifeline in search of greater stability, continuity of care, and a team that truly understands the Island and its unique requirements.

Established for over 35 years, Lifeline remain the only Island based provider with NSI Gold and BAFE third party accreditation, providing all customers with independent, third-party verification of the highest technical competence and quality standards in security and fire safety. In addition to multiple awards for industry excellence including receiving the National Security & Fire Excellence Award.
